ABOUT KONVENS

KONVENS (Konferenz zur Verarbeitung natürlicher Sprache) is an annual conference dedicated to research in computational linguistics and language technology. Established in 1992, it brings together researchers, practitioners, and students to exchange ideas and present advances in natural language processing.
Organized under the auspices of the German Society for Computational Linguistics and Language Technology (GSCL), the Special Interest Group on Computational Linguistics of the German Linguistic Society (DGfS-CL), the Austrian Society for Artificial Intelligence (ÖGAI), and SwissNLP, KONVENS provides a vibrant forum for fostering collaboration across disciplines and countries.
In 2026, the Conference on Natural Language Processing (KONVENS) will be hosted in Hamburg by the University of Hamburg We look forward to welcoming the NLP community to Hamburg for an inspiring exchange of ideas and research.
